Behind great music is an even greater band with members that have a story to tell. The Busker have been on the scene for a while now starting off as a duo with frontman Dario and Jean Paul which then evolved into the 4 piece band we see before us today with Sean and David adding their magic touch.

With 4 ep’s and 2 albums now under their belt, with the most recent being ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ -they have carved their name into the local music history. Their retro sound makes them stand out from the rest of the bands currently on the scene.

Anyone that has ever been to any of their gigs can testify that their fun vibe and love towards the music they create is infectious and leaves you wanting more from them.

After the success of their recent album launch now comes ‘This is us-unplugged’ which will be held at the Valletta Campus Theatre VCT (Ex MITP) on the 22nd of March.

‘This is us’ will see The Busker stripped back, unplugged and going back to their roots. The event will be a story telling journey which is set to take the audience back to where it all began and give an exclusive behind the scenes look at the story behind their music. The performance will be split into 6 acts where each act represents a defining phase in the band’s history. Special guests who are close to the band will also feature on the night.

Get ready to see ‘The Busker’ in a whole new light as the intimate setting will be transformed into their space. You cannot get more up close and personal than this.

So on the 22nd of March join the boys and take a trip down memory lane where you shall FLY from DENMARK STREET all the way to GREENWICH VILLAGE. JENNY BELL and MARYANNE shall guide you through this journey of nostalgia, adventures and SWEET LOVE for music.
